It’s July and we are officially in the slow season of trade show marketing. I know many of you have taken the opportunity to go on vacation and recharge. We love our summer vacations! But, this summer, we have taken advantage of the slow season to catch our breath from an amazing first six months of 2017! Thanks to all of you for being a part of this with us.
So far this year, we have hired our new General Manager, Lou Shiffman. Lou is a veteran in manufacturing with 30 years of exhibit building, cabinet building, and installation experience, as well as shop and staff management. He has led a complete reorganization of the inner workings of Xibeo’s manufacturing, warehousing, and processes.
We have added 5,000 square feet of exhibit warehousing space, new offices, and new employees in both the warehouse and fabrication shop to accommodate the increased demand for custom and rental booths. And finally, we have increased our rental inventory with new and innovative products which will decrease your set up time and increase your visual impact. When the fall trade show season arrives, we will be ready for you!
We have filled out the trade show event calendar for the rest of 2017 and will begin work on 2018 very soon. We are also posting reminders on Linked In and Facebook about upcoming shows and where you need to be in your preparation for them. We are considering adding in an email reminder system to help you stay on track for your specific events. If you would be interested in something like this, please click the link below to let us know.
Also this month, we have another informative guide for you, this time focused on those who don’t have experience exhibiting at trade shows. This rookie guide is packed full of information to guide you along the way to exhibiting at your first trade show, including:
- How to decide which trade show to attend
- How to set a budget for your trade show
- How to select your trade show floor space

Finally, we are going to take down our survey in the next couple of weeks. If you have a few minutes, we would love to get your feedback. Everyone that completes a survey will be entered to win one of three Amazon gift certificates of $300 each.
That’s all we have this time. Until next time, we are here should you need any help with any facet of your trade show marketing!
