Full Job Description:
An Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing assigned clients as well as developing new accounts on their own. The AM drives the tactical aspects of all project deliverables and to close sales proposals on a regular monthly basis and reach provided sales goals. The AM takes all appropriate and necessary actions to ensure clients regard Xibeo in high esteem and have significant confidence in the support provided.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Support the management of your assigned clients and develop new accounts
Prepare written correspondence and proposals
Prepare workback/timeline schedules and project plans, communicate action times to supporting personnel, monitor adherence to deadlines
Possess strong operational knowledge of presentation systems, tools & processes as it relates to project workflow
Drive collaboration with Xibeo staff, project managers, estimating, designers, accounting, warehouse and freelancers to ensure project deliverables are completed effectively and efficiently
Observe deadlines, prioritize workload and operate under limited time constraints
Manage approval processes and ensure all solutions follow, abide the show specific rules & regulations
Act as liaison between clients, agencies, appropriate 3rd parties and all Xibeo departments
Order show services and manage turnkey tradeshows for clients when required
Work effectively and demonstrate respect for colleagues at all levels and consistently contribute to a positive work environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office in order to prepare client correspondence, proposals and presentations
Complete all work with some supervision and direction
Work with and attend industry associations events to network and create new contacts and channels for Xibeo
Account Management:
Able to manage multiple small to mid-size clients
Consistently demonstrate ability to support problem-solving efforts when challenges or concerns arise
Recognize and support development of new business opportunities with existing clients
Build and maintain relationships with the clients that we support
Elevate new prospect opportunities to become new clients/ accounts
Proactively contribute ideas to projects and regularly make recommendations to client contact and Account Director on how to strengthen our relationships
Actively participate in internal brainstorming sessions by offering ideas on project deliverables
Participate in capabilities presentations, sales presentations, pitches and proposal generation for existing client base and prospects
Represent the client’s needs to all internal team members, with the knowledge and insights of the client and the client’s business throughout the project life cycle, from concept development through delivery and final billing
Manage all account related needs including, but not limited to:
- Show site expectations
- Quality assurance
- Estimating, placing orders, proposals & invoicing
Travel approximately 25% of the time, supporting client deliverables
Financial Responsibility / Management:
Maintain and update project information, including financial within Xibeo systems
Monitor and ensure consistent delivery of ≥45% gross margin on average
Responsible for estimating projects; work with design team on new builds, large activations or specialty projects
Ensure all costs/ items are accounted for within Xibeo systems, client quotes, proposals and invoices
Review all invoice drafts for accuracy prior to billing

5+ Years of sales experience in the event and tradeshow industry

Effective communication skills are required: including the ability to make effective and persuasive presentations; prepare written documentation including proposals, quotations and letters; maintain accurate and complete client and project files

Demonstrates good “business acumen”
Exhibits the ability to multi-task, sell, and operate under severe time constraints and deadlines
Good organization, detail and follow-up skills are required with the ability to manage and reset priorities in a rapidly changing environment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree (A.A. or A.S.) minimum requirement and 5+ years’ experience in sales. 5+ years in exhibit industry or working for an exhibit house or experiential agency setting helpful
INSTALLATION CREW/WAREHOUSE
Applicants must have the following abilities:
Read and work from set up instructions.
Lift at least 50 lbs.
Be able to work independently.
Be a detail oriented, motivated, self-starting, problem solver who works well under pressure.
Take great pride in their work.

Installation Crew/Warehouse Responsibilities include: (but are not limited to)
• Set up of trade show exhibits – must be able to read and follow set up instructions
• Dismantling, packing, and preparing exhibits for shipping to trade show
• Checking in and storage of all exhibits upon return from trade show
• Processing of all daily outbound Fed Ex/UPS shipments
• Receiving and checking in of all items received daily
• Upkeep of shipping and receiving logs
• Pick up and deliveries
• Use of the forklift for the loading and unloading of all trucks
• Forklift watering, charging and reasonable maintenance
• Weekly inventory of internal supplies
• General cleaning and upkeep of warehouse/showroom areas
