Baba’s Feed Project was founded in May 2020 after a trip to India, cut short by COVID-19. We began the project in response to the urgent need to serve the poorest of the poor who were faced with the economic shut down and the inability to work and provide for their families. With Pintu on the ground and us in New Zealand and the US, ready to help, we found ourselves to be in the perfect position, with the perfect team, to really make a difference. And we did so in the name of Neem Karoli Baba Maharaj-ji, and by his grace.
Only $14.00 US will provide one complete food kit. Each kit contains enough food to feed a family of five three meals a day for ten days. Please click on over to BABA’S SHOP to see how little it takes to feed a family for ONE MONTH, THREE MONTHS, and A WHOLE YEAR! Your support and contributions enable us to provide these kits to incredibly food insecure people in Northern India. Thank you for making a difference! If everyone gave back just a little, the world would be a better place.
Canstruction is an international hunger relief charity that raises millions of pounds of food each year for local food banks. Every year, Canstruction chapters have competitions citywide where teams compete for awards in the following categories: Best Meal, Structural Ingenuity, Best Original Design, Most Cans, Best Use of Labels, and People’s Choice awards. Winners from each local competition then go on to compete internationally in these categories.
To start a citywide competition in your city, you’ll need to register your event with us. You’ll then be responsible for:
- Organizing the event
- Purchasing canned food
- Creating and designing structures
- Donating food to a local food bank
